Good to know

Do I need to turn off Find My before an Apple repair?

Yes. We can't start work on an iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple Watch while Activation Lock is on. On iOS 27 or later, open Find My, select the device, tap the More button, then Repair or Trade In. On iOS 26 or earlier, go to Settings, tap your name, tap Find My, then turn off Find My. You'll need your Apple Account password.

Should I give you my passcode?

Keep it with you. Never type a passcode or password into a website form, an email or a ticket note. If your repair needs the device unlocked, we'll ask you at the counter so you can enter it yourself.
